Caring for the community, one smile at a time

Founded by Dr. David Wilkie in 1992, our practice is rooted in family and community. To us, dentistry isn’t about simply caring for patients—it’s about caring for people. When you step into our office, we hope you feel connected to the spirit of heritage and dedication that inspires our work.

Pacific Family Dental has been providing comprehensive dental care to the families of South Surrey & White Rock for over 30 years.

“The thing I love most about my work is using my skills and training to help others—whether providing relief to someone experiencing pain, improving a smile that a patient may have felt self-conscious about or unhappy with, or helping a child feel less anxious at the dentist.”

Dr. Dagenais is a compassionate dentist, driven by service. Known for her empathetic approach and gentle touch, she ensures each person in her chair—from the youngest patient to the oldest—feels comfortable and well taken care of.

Prior to becoming a dentist, she “cut her teeth” as an engineer. She enjoys working with her hands and helping her patients feel in control and confident in their treatment options. She believes that good oral health is essential for well-being, taking immense pride in her work.

Raised in a household dedicated to dentistry, Dr. Dagenais is honoured to continue the family tradition of providing exceptional, patient-centred care. She has four young children and is proud to serve the patients of the community in which she grew up.

"I value treating people with kindness and making them feel taken care of. I treat my patients how I would want to be treated: delivering comprehensive care so they have all the information to make informed decisions, and so they can understand and appreciate the process."

Dr. Clark is a dedicated dentist with a passion for helping others and making them feel comfortable and at-ease.

She decided to become a dentist because it’s a perfect fit for her personality and interests—she loves working with her hands, providing relief for others, and delivering detail-oriented, high quality work.

The dental office can be a stressful place for many people. To create a positive experience, Dr. Clark treats her patients with kindness, takes the time to properly communicate with them, and follows up after treatment to maintain a continuity of care. She genuinely enjoys getting to know her patients, which adds even more joy and satisfaction to her work.

In her free time, Dr. Clark enjoys spending time with her loved ones, playing board games, watching movies, and making crafts.

"I want to help my patients to achieve what they see as most important, not what I see as most important. Getting to this point often involves educating the patient in areas they may not have been aware of. I want to see my patients educated enough to make informed choices."

Dr. David Wilkie graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1978 to practice in rural Manitoba. For 15 years, he provided extensive treatment to his patients who lacked convenient access to specialized care. After a year abroad practicing in Australia, Dr. Wilkie moved with his wife Liz and three young children to the Lower Mainland where he built a loyal patient base over the past 30 years.

As a dentist, Dr. Wilkie has a remarkable ability to empathize with others and truly hear what they’re saying. He listens to their concerns and goals, describes his observations in understandable terms, and provides their chosen treatment option without judgment.

Now retired, Dr. Wilkie is delighted that his daughter Heather has chosen to continue the family legacy of dentistry. You’ll still see him in the office from time to time, always willing to share an entertaining story or two.

What our patients are saying

"I have been a patient at this practice for some time now and have found everyone involved to be very friendly and professional. They provide excellent dental care, as painless as possible. I would recommend using their services."  -C.S.

“They provide excellent dental care.”

"This is a fantastic dental office. I only wish I'd known about it years ago. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a dental office in the area. Drs Dagenais and Clarke are wonderful with their patients. I had an unexpected panic attack when I went for a filling the other day. They were calm, kind and simply rebooked my appointment. No hassles.” - A.H.
